These were listed at around $35 when I got them, which seems to be a pretty fair price. They aren't going to be a family heirloom that you pass down for generations. But if you just need them to serve as your dress shoes for an event every now and then, they'll last you for years. Or if you need them for day to day work, I think you can wear them until they're worn out enough by your standards and not feel bad about tossing them at this price. Both the shape of the shoe itself, as well as the white along the bottom make these a little less formal than they might otherwise be, so they may not be right for every occasion. I had mixed feelings about these Men’s Casual Dress Oxford Sneakers. On the positive side, the design is actually very nice—they look modern and versatile enough to pair with both business casual outfits and everyday wear. The fit was decent, and they felt reasonably comfortable for short periods. However, the biggest downside was the strong, heavy chemical smell right out of the box. It was quite unpleasant and took several days of airing out before it improved even slightly. For a new pair of shoes, that was pretty disappointing and made the initial experience much less enjoyable. I wear a 14 normal in almost every shoe. These vented oxfords have a very nice sole and insole which make them quite nice to stand and walk in during a work day. I was very impressed with the fit and comfort as the toe box definitely allows for a little breathing room even on my large foot. They appear to be relatively non slip which good grip compared to a full leather sole. Shown in my image is a cushioned insole which was definitely unexpected and appreciated in work/ dress shoes. These are comfortable to stand in all day, they look very good and appear well made. The box arrived a bit beat up but the shoes were individually wrapped and in good condition aside from a strong smell (maybe a weird shoe polish? But almost smelled paint-like.) After having them out and wearing them, the smell seems to have dissipated thankfully. The grip on the bottom is excellent, and I look forward to wearing these for a while! Read more
