Ordering shoes online is sometimes a crap-shoot for me because I have wide feet. These aren't offered in extra widths, but I took a chance anyway. Surprisingly, they feel confortable. There was some initial puzzlement because of the way the laces came set up (see first photo). I re-laced them the way I prefer before trying them on. The soles are on the softer side, which gives some cushioning as you walk. The black material is kind of thin though, and there is no label indicating the material composition as there usually is with shoes. Pretty sure it's a synthetic, rather than leather. My only concern would be durability and if the finish holds up. The stitching between the body and the sole looks great, and the interior is lined (so you can't see the back of the material on the outside). One other issue I had was the eyelets, when I re-laced them. There's a metal eyelet on the back (see second photo) but none on the outside. That looks better, but makes it more difficult to push the ends of the laces through. The closest caomparison I can think of is my first pair of Rockports years and years ago. Light, comfortable, and they look good for an office job or casual social activities. The shape of the front looks a little odd to me. I typically look for a more blunted toe because my feet are fairly long already. But if that's your taste than these might be a good choice. Read more

I have a set of black dressy shoes and I have a set of brown dressy shoes, but sometimes you need something that is sporty but dressy at the same time. These Glamor Chaser Casual Oxford dress shoes fit the bill. They are a classic looking brown laced oxford with a sporty and trendy white/beige bottom sole. The shoe itself is very comfortable. The insole is cushiony and great for walking. I walk a lot at work around the office and these feel good to walk in. They are light and don't weigh my feet down. The best comfort part of this shoe for me is the back of the Achilles heel area. There is a nice supportive cushion pad that presses gently against my heel where the top of the shoe upper touches. Sometimes I will get a cutting feeling back there from the edge, but not with this cushion. It's like they knew that would be an area that needed comfort. The upper is a synthetic material has been good so far. I have kicked up against things by accident and it hasn't scuffed so it seems pretty sturdy for light dings. The color of the pseudo leather is a nice rich brown and it has a slight sheen to it. The front tips have a darker shade of brown to give it a distinct look about it. You may or may not like it, but it works well for me. the laces are nice and robust, with eyelets that are reinforced but only on one side. The seams are done well and I do not notice any sloppy construction on the shoe. I really like the white thread outline on the top of the soles.
