These shoes are more appropriate for casual wear because of the bright yellow line around the shoe on the rubber outsole and the decorative brown patch on the outer heal of the shoe. The material they are made with, a faux-leather, does appear leather-like and has some stiffness of leather. The shoes very slowly break in, so be prepared for the upper ridge of the shoe to rub for a bit. Overall, the shoes are very light, coming from the thin outer material and thinner sole of the shoe. The model in the listing photos is wearing the shoes without socks, something I am not cool enough to do so I’ve been wearing the shoes with black socks.
