These pants run small. All my pants are 38W x 32L, and these size 38 are the identical size, according to the size guide. However, they are on the small side of 38 in the waist, not so small that I can't get them on, but too tight to wear. The length is close to 32 but really closer to 31, so they're a bit short, too. All cotton means they will only get smaller. I would call these denim, rather than chino. The material looks like khaki colored jeans. I like the styling and the color, plus they seem well made. These remind me a bit of softer and lighter work pants without all the loops. The color is similar, but they wear lighter and easier. They have a nice texture to them whereas a lot of pants lately are super soft with no texture at all. Sizing: These ran a bit big in my opinion. I'm 5'11" and 215 lbs so I got the size 38 waist and they were too big and I would go down to a 36 next time. Momma didn't raise no quitter so I'm going to try and shrink them in the wash and dryer over time which is something I've done to many clothing items if they are just a touch too big, in fact I prefer it that way but these may be too big. The length was great, well within tolerances as I usually wear a 30 or 32 length. The cut seems to sit higher towards the waist, because of the size they would slide down to my hips more and the crotch would be too low. Read more
