Like most of you, I am pretty selective about the items I choose to purchase. I take the time to look at many things before finally choosing something. No one needs another useless purchase and no one has the time to return something; so, I hope this review can help you. Got this mens cotton short sleeve crew neck t-shirt in white for a family member who normally wears size large in shirts. We ordered a large and the large fit him well. The shirt is described as 180 gsm long-staple 100% cotton, which is probably why I am not so familiar with the feel of this type of material. For me, 100% cotton does not have the sheen or stretch that this material seemed to have. I am used to the more basic, common cotton. He felt that the shirt was very soft and that it was a bit thicker than a regular white t-shirt. It’s versatile - could be dressed down with streetwear or dressed up under a sportcoat/blazer. This classic white shirt is really amazing quality. The shirt I received in the mail was labeled Comfort Colors on the tag. This is a brand I’m familiar with, and the quality is excellent. It is very soft, and the fabric has a nice weight to it and the stitching is well done. While it could be used as an undershirt, I think the quality makes it a great classic shirt to wear on its own. I got a large for my fiancé, and it looked really nice on him. For reference, he is 5’10” and about 187 lbs with a pretty athletic build. On his frame, the shirt had a relaxed fit that looked great. Even if it shrinks a bit with washing, it should still fit well. I would say it runs a tad larger than some of his other large shirts. He is kind of in between a medium and a large based on wash shrinkage but I’ve started buying large because everything shrinks so much. If you’re wanting a fitted look, you may want to size down. This shirt is a wonderful basic to add to your wardrobe. I have to be honest, I was a bit jealous and bought myself a small in berry. It was on sale when I purchased the second shirt, and if the quality is the same, I would say it’s a steal for the price. I will likely stock up if the quality is the same for the second order.
