These run narrow in width. I'm usually an 8.5 and I kept the size 9. If you have slender or narrow feet, you probably can do the size down. If you have wide feet, I recommend the size up. The leather is of good quality. I've worked a few shifts with them and they haven't cracked or creased too badly. The sole is actually Non-Slip. This feature is a great relief if you're walking wet or oily surfaces like in a kitchen. They're quite comfortable and the insoles can be swapped. It's an overall great value for what you get.
