Wow, what a coat, great length and the insulation is fantastic. The wind is blowing, but it doesn’t register on your body. I’m in Chicago and the wind off Lake Michigan is brutal; you can’t just wear anything. This coat is perfect for this Midwest winter weather and only that; I wore my coat on a 23 degree day (no wind) and I was overheating in this coat. I bought this for my SIL for Christmas. When I asked if he liked it, he replied, "I love it!" He tried it on when he was here. It is a nice-looking jacket with plenty of warmth. This coat is so thick and warm! I ordered it a little big so that I can comfortably wear layers underneath. It has plenty of pockets and lots of length. My only complaint is that it pulls my shoulder/armpit when I stretch my arms forward(like when grabbing the steering wheel). This is most likely because it’s too big in that area and I’m able to adjust it so that it works for my needs. I haven’t used the shoulder straps to carry it around when I get too hot but found them to be a funny surprise that is really a good idea to stay hands free while shopping.
