Thought I would enjoy this fleece lined polo shirt and it felt great when I put it on but it seemed to be very oversized. I am 6'4" and 225 lbs. In the past I had a size XL on another shirt from this brand and it was too small so I ordered the XXL and this time it was way too large. My wife also told me it looked kind of dorky because of the colors but that was probably my fault and I should have picked a more popular color. The shirt itself is well made and seemed surprisingly warm. I imagine it would be a very good option for cool mornings and fall golf if you like the look and find the proper size. Color was true to the photo. While this seems like a good shirt and a well-made product it just didn't work out for me. Good value for the quality of the shirt though and I wouldn't hesitate to order from this brand again in the future. Read more

This Herberton men’s fleece-lined golf polo shirt is an excellent choice for cooler weather. The thermal lining provides noticeable warmth without feeling bulky, making it perfect for outdoor activities like golf or casual wear. The fit is comfortable and true to size, and the fabric feels soft against the skin. It looks polished enough to wear out while still being very cozy. The quality is impressive, and it holds up well after washing. Highly recommend for anyone needing a stylish yet warm polo. Read more

This fleece-lined polo is basically a socially acceptable wearable comforter that tricks people into thinking you put effort into getting dressed when really you just wanted to be warm without looking like you gave up on life. The hidden button design gives it that premium "I definitely didn't roll out of bed ten minutes ago" look, the thermal lining cranks out enough warmth to eliminate your need for light jackets (thus freeing up armchair space previously occupied by discarded outerwear), and the material is so soft and stretchy you'll forget you're wearing actual clothing instead of fuzzy pajamas. The sizing runs a touch large with some extra fabric gathering in the armpit region like tiny fabric squatters, so if you're between sizes maybe go smaller unless you enjoy the current trend of everything being baggy enough to hide emergency snacks. At 5'11" and 290lbs in a XXL, it fits comfortably with that relaxed vibe that says "I'm dressed appropriately for public but also could nap at any moment," and the black color looks sharp enough for casual occasions where people might judge your fashion choices but not scrutinize them too closely. You legitimately cannot tell this is a thermal shirt from looking at it, which means you can attend golf outings, family dinners, or anywhere requiring "business casual" while secretly being wrapped in warmth like a temperature-controlled burrito, basically the perfect deception for guys who prioritize comfort over everything else! this shirt looks absolutely terrific on me! just hanging there on its hanger, it looks like nothing special. but once i put it on it instantly looks FANTASTIC on me (almost as if by magic --like waaay better than it should!). i'm finding myself wearing it as often as possible, simply because it looks so great on me. it's also tremendously comfortable to wear. i went with the large, even though i'm a medium --just in case. that was a mistake. the L is too roomy (still wearable, though). the medium would have probably been ideal in every way. but i can make do with the oversized version, which is totally due to my own actions. i'm noticing that this company delivers consistently acceptable quality and nice styling, as my collection of their products increases. the color is neutral and understated, without being at all bland (it definitely registers as 'color' --not as 'non-color' like a gray or 'sand' or 'pebble'). it's really quite nice, with plenty of eye appeal. and the bright white collar contrast works very well, and at one-in-the-same time, gives this shirt a more casual air, as well as a dressier and more elegant lift. i don't how that's possible, but it's true. the only tiny negative is almost too insignificant to mention: i had to trim a number of extra and errant threads, from the inside of the white accent collar. the other thing i notice is that sometimes their shirt is true to size, and other times it isn't. not sure how to do a better job at differentiating, but i'm still a happy beneficiary of the good job herberton's does, either way. lastly, the machine embroidered logo on this pullover is more imposing than i pictured; i'm not a great fan of visible logos to begin with, so a scaled down and more diminutive version would have been easier for me to live with, and more in line with what my preferences [in no way a deal breaker, on this one, but it would be, if i were considering buying one outright]. RECOMMENDED for its quality, attractive styling, value --and just how truly GREAT it looks on me. another nice job, herberton! :) Read more
