Bought these for my husband. He just started wearing suspenders and the previous pair annoyed him because a strap kept falling off his shoulder. These are much, much better. Straps are wider and the crossover connection in the back is higher so the straps stay where they belong. These are very sturdily built and I expect they will last a long time.
