Classic Cap-Toe Oxford Look, Comfortable Fit, Minor Detail Issues Up Close
As soon as I saw these, I wanted to try them out. The style is a cap-toe Oxford with light brogue detailing, which is one of my favorite types of dress shoes because it works for a lot of different looks. I really like the brown color and the subtle ombré/burnished effect across the shoe. It gives it more character than a flat brown and looks nice for warmer months or dressed-up casual outfits. The shoe feels solid and sturdy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort. Buying shoes online is always hit or miss for me, but these were comfortable to walk around in and didn’t hurt my feet. I ordered my usual size and the fit was good — not too tight and not too loose. Up close, some of the stitching and decorative details don’t look as refined as higher-end dress shoes, and the perforated detailing on the front isn’t quite as clean as what you’d see on more expensive Oxfords. It’s not a dealbreaker, but you can notice it when you really look at the shoe closely. However, for the price point this is still a good deal, so I didn't take stars off.
