Great pair of shoes for a slip and fall artist
These shoes are extremely lightweight and rigid. The size and fit are correct; however, there is not much value to be found here. The base of the shoe is a very rigid plastic type material (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) that does not want to bend as you walk naturally. The resistance to bending causes the shoe to want to slip off of your heel when walking on a flat surface and can come completely off of your heel walking up stairs. Treads on the bottom are very shallow and slippery on a dry tile floor. Walking with these on a wet or slippery surface is probably not a great idea. In the title, the material is said to be leather, which it is not. Further in the material description they list PU Leather and Faux Leather, which is correct. Stitching on these are somewhat consistent but not the quality you would find on the typical name brand shoes you would find at a lesser price point. The PU Leather material does not fit the form of the shoe in places and is stitched on with extra material bowing out above the shoe profile as seen in the photos. The quality of manufacture is overall poor, and I would wager there is no quality assurance check happening. You can see extra material laying in the bottom of the inside of the shoe in the internal photo. This material is laying inside but still connected to the inner body. As for packaging, these arrived wrapped in a thin sheet of plastic with a plastic loop holding them face to face without a box. I would expect to pay between $7 - $10 for these at a dollar store bargain bin, but not the absurd asking price of $35.99. You can buy proper quality name brand dress shoes for less almost anywhere.
