BANG for the buck!
Three months later: If you are going to use these shoes for extensive walking outdoors on concrete or pavement they have one big Con common to low-priced shoes. The heel is made of a very soft material. Your weight will also factor in. I'm a 210 lbs man. I would imagine the less you weigh that will probably extend the life of the heel if you walk on rough services. Of course, you can always attach heel protectors. I should have done that when the shoes were new. Original review: These are beautiful shoes. The construction is easily up to par with shoes costing twice as much plus. They come carefully package with a little extra fluff for presentation. Cons: 1- I usually wear a size 11. I had to send back that size and I took a chance on size 12. Perfect fit. So to me these are made a little undersized in American specs. 2- As many have pointed out the shoe laces probably wont last long and they are made of a slick material so you have to do a double tie or they will come undone. Minor annoyance. 3- It's easy to see that these are "nice weather" shoes. Don't wear these on rainy days or in the snow. These are the definition of casual dress up or casual business. Pros: 1- Oh wait, I already said these are beautiful shoes! For none heavy-duty use, these shoes are probably the best value on Amazon at the moment. 2- VERY comfortable to wear for even a 10 hour stretch. 3- Be prepared for compliments! Read more
