I ordered this shirt for my husband in gray and he wore it for the first time yesterday evening to a photography exhibit opening event at a local art gallery. He fit right in with the vibe! The shirt is beautiful quality and a light, breathable fabric with a linen-like texture. Unlike actual linen though, I was able to iron it easily using low heat. One great feature of this button down shirt is that the buttons are hidden (once buttoned) giving it a more polished, elevated look. The only word of caution I would note is that it does run slightly on the smaller side--the XL I ordered for my husband is more on par with a Large-sized similar shirt you might find at, for example, your local Target store. I somehow anticipated this might be the case so I ordered a size up. The gamble paid off and it fit beautifully. Hubby loved the fit and feel and when I asked him if he would wear it again or be open to wearing the same shirt if I were to order it in a different color, the answer was "yes" to both. Read more

So I like this shirt. It's cool, breezy and definitely fits in with the whole Hawaiian aesthetic. The only thing I would suggest is maybe going a size down. I bought a medium and MAYBE should've tried a small. It's a bit bigger than I typically like my clothes. However, keep in mind as well that with beachwear, it generally is a lot less "form-fitting." It's not a big deal and I think it still looks great on, but I would have preferred it be SLIGHTLY less "billowy" than it is. This is a really nice, casual shirt with a fun front that hides the buttons in a fashionable way. The shirt fits to size, so decide what you're going to want to use this for and go from there.
