One of my teen sons is like a bull in a china shop in many aspect of his life, including his apparel. His sneakers frequently have holes or worn soles, shirts get stained or holes and shorts are much of the same. When I saw these athletic shorts (all that he wears) for sale at 2 for $20 I jumped on it. They're a pretty good deal at $10 a pop - NOT as in, you get what you paid for kind of way - because that is what I was expecting. I was surprised that they actually are better than I was expecting. For sure they're not top tier, high quality shorts, either. I'll put it this way: they're above average shorts at a good price. Will my kid tear through them like most of his other clothes? Probably. But he's had them close to a month and wears them quite frequently and so far I haven't spotted any runs, rips or holes so that's pretty good. They've survived street court basketball games, the gym, backyard baseball, sleeping, gaming, impromptu wrestling matches and other teenage tomfoolery while still looking to be in good shape so that's a win in my book. Very lightweight, very comfortable shorts. I'm 6'2", ~200lbs, semi-athletic man. My pant size is typically around a 34/35W 34L, so despite typically being a size Large for shorts, using their sizing guide I opted to go with Medium (M: 30-41, 160-210lbs; L: 32-43, 210-230lbs). Their sizing guide is pretty good. The mediums definitely fit me, but the waistband is justtttt a touch tight to my preference, while still remaining comfortable to wear. I'm certainly not disappointed, since there is no drawstring, the elastic being on the tighter side is probably better for the long run. That's to say I do fall in an in-between-ish size on their guide, and sure enough the Medium and the Large would have been satisfactory to me, so use that info to help your choice. I've used these for workouts and as pajama/lounge shorts, both to satisfaction. They are soft, stretchy, and light. Sweat will show on them very clearly, but they're breathable, so you do stay cooler. The material is comfortable enough to even be worn commando (very comfy lounge shorts - note for that though, the thin fabric conforms to what's under it in a very noticeable, detailed way... so... yea... only do that in very private settings. I could have sworn I’d reviewed these, but it must not have saved! So, I was iffy on grabbing these because I am SHORT, and most gym shorts make me look like I should be in a British orphanage begging for some more gruel, y’know? If I wanted knee breeches, I’d buy ‘em. These hit me just at knee level, which is longer than I’ll go normally (5” inseams hit me 3” above the knee, to give you an idea. These are 10” I believe, same as my work shorts.) These suckers are SLINKY. I’ve seen this fabric called ice silk before and it’s actually more commonly used in underwear, so remember that when you’re putting on underwear that day - go with a pair that conceals, not those elephant-nosed jocks that show everything. Because these shorts will. They’ll also be the most comfortable shorts you own. Now, I’m not sure about the “cooling” aspect, but they’re definitely breathable, and more comfortable than most of my other gym shorts out here in the desert. Am actually about to snag two more pair in other colors. Sizing - I got mediums, which the size chart says are 30-41”. They’re not kidding. Might be slightly big on a 30” waist though, honestly. I’m a solid 33” waist and have a good 7-8” of stretch left at the waistband and 8-10” at the hips. Read more

These shorts are a thin material. My son feels like you can see every bulge and underwear line in them, yet my husband likes them and says they are very comfortable. My son is using them for pjs since he will not wear them out of the house. My husband has been using his for hot outside yard work since they are light and breathable. Read more
