Wore this to my first Renaissance Fair. Breathable stretchy enough and comfortable. Easy to throw on layers underneath without them showing for colder days. The fabric seems to be light enough to withstand some more aggressive activities. Unsure about the resistance, but it held up for many hours of walking. The elastic and the waistband made it easy to put on without having to worry about perfect fitment or sizing. In the sunlight, it definitely will feel warm, which might be a problem for hotter days. If you’re tall or big, even the XXL may be too small from you. I’m barely 5’4” and have a 37” waist. The XXL fit fine although snug around the middle. I think they will be too short for anyone over 5’7”. Quality is about what one might expect for the price: these arrived with the waist drawstring pulled out most of the way on one side, so I just pulled it out entirely since the elastic waist was already snug for me. The pants tore while I was out wearing them at the Ren fair. The issue with these pants is that the ankle bands are too tight even when there's no lace making them even tigher. I don't have huge ankles/calves, there should be some looseness when the laces are not tied. This tightness made it so that when I stepped into a SUV to drive to the fair, they tore where the two legs meet. Most pants won't tear due to being higher quality, or the area around the ankle will rise up, creating slack so the pants won't tear. However since the quality is low and the ankle are is too tight, the pants tore. The tear was small at first but became larger as the day went on. Also these pants don't have pockets. Read more
