Bought this for a Tanzania safari and it was extremely comfortable and effective. Has roll-up and buttoned sleeves for when it's warmer, and plenty of pockets for storage. The shirt style and construction is good. The buttons are a tight fit in the button holes, but they are attached with a webbing strip so they should be secure. The vented back helps and the sleeve straps keep your sleeves rolled up. The only issue I had is the shirt if very hot. It must be the type of fabric used. I wore them during a trip to Bermuda, and I was soaked with sweat every day. If you aren't in a hot/humid area, you should get many years of use out of them. Read more

A different style than I usually get because it has open top pockets, but they do have snap closures and a smaller Velcro pocket below. I actually found this shirt very useful for work as it does have the open top pocket for notepad, pens, etc and the smaller Velcro pocket below fits AirPods, etc just right. This shirt also breathes really well as it is an aerated style (small holes in fabric design) so it is excellent for hot environments while still providing some shielding from sunburn, dust, etc. It is very thin fabric though so it is a little fragile for heavy duty work. That said, I would still recommend it in a hot environment around warehouse, fishing, casual, hiking, etc. The fit is slightly shorter on the arms than I usually prefer as I have long arms, but it is just long enough and stretchy enough that it works fine for me. This is a well made light weight safari shirt suitable for hiking, camping and fishing, etc. There are many pockets with air vent on the back side. This is a long sleeved shirt and sleeves can be rolled up with elastic hold loops. Because many customers pointed out that the shirt runs bigger than a standard size, I ordered a size down (I have athletic build) and it fit perfect! Oh I also want to mention that I will be wearing this shirt when I am out doing the yard work and watering the shrubs as the long sleeves will keep your arms from tanning/burning!
