Mens Tuxedo Shoes Patent Leather Formal Business Oxford Dress Shoes

These shoes fit perfectly. I normally wear a size 11 but the tux shoes I've tried on before were more expensive and just didn't fit for one reason or another. I decided to try these less expensive shoes - around $36. Perfect fit! I like the "pointed toe" look (there's a name for it that escapes me) as it looks elegant but not overdone (not too pointy). The glossy shine of the patent leather if fabulous. The quality is excellent as well. These will function just fine for a formal Ball or occasional wedding. Like the tux, use sparingly. There's a code for dinner wear (tuxedo). For shoes, it's all leather - patent leather on top and leather soles. These don't have leather soles. But neither did the more expensive ones I tried. For me, I have a narrow foot, they run true to size. I ordered them a half size larger as recommended but had to return them for correct size. Read more

I bought these last minute for a formal event. Fit exactly as expected with thin dress socks. Shoes are very squeaky out of the box. Carefully coating all of the shiny contact points with a thin layer of Vaseline using a q-tip alleviated that problem easily. They looked great and were comfortable the whole night. Read more
