My husband loves these shoes. He says they’re just like his favorite pair and wears them all the time, even down to their look. The best part is how they cradle his heel with great structure, keeping it cushioned and in place, which is especially nice as you get older and your ankles weaken—it helps keep his feet straight and aligned while walking. I was surprised to find that kind of support at this price point for slip-on sneakers. The heel cushioning is impressive too; when he puts weight on them, you can see the air pocket working. They run a bit large on him—he wears a size 10 but thinks a 9.5 would fit better. I told him he should wear socks, but he refuses, so I’m secretly glad these require it; otherwise, they’d be too loose. The fabric is high-quality—breathable yet thick and structured—and definitely doesn’t feel like “sock shoes.” Overall, they’re a winner: outstanding quality, amazing comfort, great price, and solid construction. The toe box is wide, though he’s unsure if that’s because the shoe runs large or if it’s just designed that way. Read more

I wear flip flops every day, but occasionally I need to wear a sneaker. My old sneakers are showing their age, so I ordered these as an update to my older shoes. The size 13 fits true to size. They’re lightweight and surprisingly breathable. The woven upper provides ample ventilation which keeps my feet comfortable. I expected the shoes might make my feet hot since they are made from synthetic materials, but the airflow keeps them cool. Cushioning in these sneakers is moderate, which I prefer because I like feeling the ground under me for stability. There’s a slight arch support without feeling overly structured. I prefer less support in the arch, so that is a good thing for me. The slip-on design is convenient and basically makes these shoes feel like covered flip flops. The overall style is simple and clean, especially in the all-black version. There is a bit of a pattern in the uppers, across the bridge of the foot and down the sides. From a distance, the shoes almost look like black ankle socks with soles. These shoes are advertised as being appropriate for athletic activities. I would suggest they are not. The outsole is thin, there isn't any lacing or cinching mechanism available to tighten the shoes on your feet. These shoes are best suited for casual walking or light gym use, (from station to station), rather than running or sports. Four stars. Read more

I purchased 7.5 in these men's walking shoes. I usually wear a 9 in women's and the 7.5 in men's fit like a glove. They are well-cushioned, look sharp, are comfortable, and have no defects. The insoles are EVA which helps absorb impacts so that means less stress on your joint and it also keeps your feet cool. Cons: They are a little tight around the foot when you first get them and the back is soft making me have to use a shoe horn to slip them on my feet. Because the back keeps collapsing making it hard to slip on. These shoes look nice and they are comfortable. They seem like they will hold up for many years. I am hard to please especially when it comes to shoes and I have to say the pros outweigh the cons. This shoe is perfectly priced for a casual slip-on that pairs well with all things casual. This is a great looking shoe and fits quite comfortably. These are also super light weight. However, there are several negatives with this shoe. 1. The material is very flimsy and feels rather cheaply made. 2. The back of the shoe (heel) is so flimsy that there is no way you can slip this shoe on as the back/heel of the shoe just collapses as you stick your feet into the shoe. This makes it so you have to insert a finger to pull out the heel to secure your foot. 3. The soles of the shoe claims to feature a slip-resistant PU outsole that enhances traction and grip on wet pavements, however, I've found that the traction is NOT great on wet pavements. Could be that a wearing out of the outer layer is necessary before this happens. 4. The insole of this shoe (being higher) makes you feel like you are constantly leaning forward, a very weird feeling. I had high hopes for this shoe replacing my old pair of walking shoes, the search continues! Read more

These BRCHMUN shoes are a solid budget option for casual walks and maintained trails. These shoes are very lightweight, and the upper is a flexible polyester fabric that makes slipping them on quick and simple. The fabric is thin and allows for plenty of airflow. These shoes fit true to size and adhere to industry standard sizing norms. The outsole has a steep angle from back to front, which positions the heel higher relative to the toes. The angle is more aggressive than I would typically choose, but they are still comfortable to wear. The outsole is thick and durable, and it provides plenty of traction. These are far from premium shoes, but the price accurately reflects their value. Read more

I was pretty disappointed when these shoes arrived because they weren’t what I expected at all. From the photos and description, I assumed they would be a regular everyday tennis shoe, but in person they feel much closer to a lightweight slip-on or even a water-shoe style…except they really can’t handle water. The mesh material lets moisture straight through, so even a small splash would leave my socks wet. They also have no laces, which limits adjustability and support. Comfort was another letdown because there is an arch support that feels like I am walking over a speed bump (like for a car). So, I guess they’re fine for short wear, but not suitable for walking or being on your feet for long periods. I was hoping these would replace my current sneakers, and these definitely aren’t that.
