For the money, you can’t go wrong! However, you will need to purchase inserts (like dr scholls), as there is no support at all. It would feel like walking on pavement with socks on. The heal area slips a bit too as you walk, but the rest of the shoe fits fine. So didn’t think a smaller size would be wise. I had also purchased a pair of expensive Keds and the fit and comfort were awful. So these lesser expensive shoes were a definite good buy. Read more

These are very Chuck Taylor-ish. I wear a womens 12 medium width. I ordered the mens 10/womens 11. These were just a tad short. If you can do an 11 1/2 womens, these would probably work for you. I would say the width would be narrow for a man. But womens would be good. Read more

I needed white shoes to complete a costume and these worked well Overall I found the shoes uncomfortable. Yes, I could spend more time breaking them in and perhaps they'd improve, but the canvas and construction felt cheap and not durable and after wearing them for a day I doubt I'll wear them again. Product: They are great! I bought these shoes to paint the pencil design on them. I have yet to paint them but I did wear them three times to work (high school teacher so I am on my feet all day) and they were very comfortable. Costumer service: Also great!
