I've been using Mentholatum for years. I use it for a stuffy nose and especially on lips during winter, as well as generally all year to relieve the dry, chapped feeling. On the nose, I put some under the nostrils and breath it in. I find it has a stronger, more clearing effect than a couple of other vapo type rubs. On lips, I really prefer it to the sticks that seem waxy and seem to coat rather than soothe. When applied, it stays on, and again is cool and soothing. Just a little bit is needed, and can be reapplied without worry of a buildup of waxy coating. Overall, the strength of ingredients seems better, and do a better job than others I've tried. A little more price but worth it. I keep a jar by the bed and in the car all the time. Stuffy nose? Chapped lips? I do recommend. Read more
