Color is not brown (hickory) as the ad states

The style was nice but everything else about it is awful. The color does not look like the online picture. It is definitely not brown. It has a very red tone to it. The wood is not real wood. It is so lightweight and has a plastic feel to it. This is not worth the money and so disappointed with color and quality. Now I have to return this large box and waste my time. Read more

This is a very attractive console, but as many reviewers have said, it was difficult to get one of the legs on and there are a couple of yellowish stains on it. Drawers don’t function very well. But it’s still nice looking and I’m glad I got it. For this price, it’s worth it. Read more

Looks great but arrived damaged -- Update: replacement is near perfection

Sending it back for a replacement. Be prepared to do that; it looked like it was damaged in manufacturing, not shipping. Beware quality control. I expect a couple of imperfections with shipped goods, but not so damaged that makes the product unusable or noticeably flawed. Hopefully the next one will be better and I can change my rating. Update 2/23/25: the replacement was better-packed without any noticeable scratches or damage. It arrived 4 days earlier than expected. It's a great console table, with convenient drawers for things you need near your home entrance. The grey color is lush, without the "weathering" look. Solidly-built and should last a long time. (1) Table was warped. (2) Wood split at frame. My husband and I are well into our 70's and cannot carry this item to return. Having a handyman try to look at it. Very upsetting to pay this money and the quality/workmanship is poor. Read more
