The fabric is soft and is extremely comfortable to wear. Way less odor retention compared to cotton, polyester and Bamboo briefs I tried previously. These are surprisingly breathable even in hot weather with no sweating. Not sure how much % of Merino wool is used in the fabric construction, but it works for me and at this price point, I bought another 6 pack. Medium worked great for my 33 waist, average thighs and legs. The length works as well and zero ride up. Read more
A lot of boxer briefs I've tried over the years don't have a very deep pouch. This squeezes your genitals back against your body and your scrotum sticks to your thighs. These have a deep enough pouch to allow your stuff a room of their own. They are comfortable. The waistband doesn't roll down, the leg openings aren't too tight, and the rise is right (I don't have to pull them up to my belly button in order to benefit from their support). The merino wool is very soft. I love merino wool, but it is often an expensive material. I hadn't heard of this brand before, but this pack of six boxer briefs is excellent value for merino wool. I've now washed them all a couple times. I usually get at least two days of wear from these before I put them in the wash, but in a pinch while camping, I did wear them for three days and they didn't feel nasty or crusty or anything. I wash them with other merino wool shirts and socks with a wool detergent on Delicate with cold water, and then air dry them. Haven't tried the dryer and probably won't, so I can't say if they'll shrink, but I wouldn't try it. I don't find them to be too hot, though I haven't yet worn them in summer. We'll see if they feel too hot to wear in summer. Read more
Excellent overall. Comfortable, real wool so far as I can tell, fit very well although NOT true to the sizing guide they give. I'm a Medium (33" waist). So I ignored their sizing guide since Medium is normally my size, and I was correct. These fit extremely well and are so much more comfortable than cotton fabric. I'm regularly outdoors in the winter so cotton is not an option. They do not run up your legs while you're walking. If they do, either you walk funny or your clothes don't fit. They are extremely comfortable. Ordered a 2nd set. You will not find wool boxer briefs cheaper anywhere, at least I cant. Read more
Comfy. Good fit. Waist band could be better material, is a bit uncomfortable. Read more
This six pack was on sale? for the price of four, and they are high quality well made and soft merino wool underwear. If you know about wool undies then I don't need to sell you on why, but feel like these will last with a little TLC and hand washing. I will report back any longevity issues but I suspect these will last. I'm 6ft 160lbs and a 34 waist in jeans and the large size fits me perfectly, not too tight and not rolling up my leg. Read more
Wonderful undies! Quality wool construction. They are comfy and I am hopeful they wear longer than my cotton undies! Read more
Overall this was a good purchase. My first pair of wool undies cost $20 so getting these at half price was worthwhile. These are not as heavy as the $20 pair but I think they'll do just fine over time. If not I'll come back here and do an update. Oh, and in case you've never tried wool underwear you might want to give it a try. They are super comfortable and do a much better job of holding your gear in place vs the cotton tighty whities that we all grew up with. Read more
