Star down because it came with a strange smell and quite a few loose strings. But after a wash, it is a very soft lightweight sweater. I really like the colors. This sweater is warm and the colors and design are as advertised. The cardigan does appear to be a bit cheaply made and is boxy in shape. The shorter style of the sweater makes it more boxy and shapeless which is not very flattering. Read more

Wonderfully Soft Knit

This cute, and very soft, bright colored sweater has small white buttons down the front for closure, and the neck and sleeve cuffs neatly roll one turn. The stripes are a bright shade of red or white and didn't fade or bleed when washed. The stitching is well done through out. One thing I noticed is the buttonholes are round and outlined with a single thread. Since the yarn is quite stretchy, the buttonholes return to a round shaped hole. I ordered my usual size, Large, but the overall shape is loose-boxy so a size smaller may be better. If you plan on ordering down a size, check the size chart for length of body and sleeves. This sweater hits mid-hip and the sleeve length is perfect. I machine washed and dried it; the length and width measurements each lost about 1/4 inch. The sleeve width remained at 6" across. The material of this sweater has an unusual hand-feel; it is thin and smooth - almost to the point of feeling ...slippery. I chose the beige and white and it is exactly as it is pictured on the website - but the way the (very thin) model is wearing it makes it appear more elevated. If it is buttoned like a normal person would wear such a sweater, it is quite boxy [bordering on frumpy] looking. It is not flattering to normal or heavy body types due to this boxy style (e.g. no darts, baggy, drop shoulder sleeves, no seaming) and horizontal stripes.
