I let my parents take it on their trip to the beach this year and Mom said it worked out great. She liked that it was mesh so therefore it did not fill up with sand and said the cushion on the strap was very comfortable to carry. I have been using this bag to go to the splash pad. It dries quickly and is easy to carry. It is light weight and can be formed to fit the space I need it to be in. It is well-made, and as far as mesh goes, it holds quite a bit of weight. What I really like about this bag is there is a water-resistant pouch on the inside for my phone. I have other bags that do not have this pouch and I no longer use them. I ordered the pink bag; it is a soft, pretty pink and it does not “bleed” the color when wet. This is a decent bag for the pool side or other items but I wouldn't recommend it for the beach. With the mesh fabric you're just begging sand to hop into your bag. It's a nice large size and you've got tons of pockets on the exterior to check things like sunscreen goggles etc. The inner compartment is pretty basic but perfect for towels hats etc. There is a vinyl pocket on the interior too that you could use to protect things from getting wet. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is that it's just a standard quality in the fabrication of it. The zipper had a string coming off of it which made me scrutinize it and then I noticed how an even some of the stitching is. Still I think it's a decent bag and feel that it's a good value. Oh the Love Love Love I have for this bag!!! Perfect beach, pool, what ever bag! We actually had an emergency when it came in, and I packed it for the hospital! This bag is AAAAWWWESOME! This beach bag is so roomy! I easily fit 3 towels, 3 sunscreens, my emotional support water bottle, snacks, my Kindle, and everything else I need for a day at the beach. I appreciate the multiple outside pockets, including a zippered one that’s great for my phone and keys. There’s also a plastic pocket inside to keep things dry if you’re carrying home wet stuff. At first glance, I didn't think this bag would be big enough, but then I started loading it up, and it fits a small child's life jacket, a toddler floaty, four towels and a wet dry bag filled with swim diapers. I love that it has a plastic zipper pocket on the inside for electronics and outer pockets for sunscreen and other items. This is a serious upgrade from our reusable grocery bag! It is also very lightweight, magically more lightweight than the grocery bag I was using. I also love the soft pink color. This is going to be a great swim bag for all of our travel needs. Read more

This bag is large and perfect for the beach or as a shower bag. I used it as my shower bag while camping and it was great for that. It has a plastic pouch inside to help keep stuff dry and separate. I ordered pink and it is a nice light pink shade as pictured. Great bag! Read more
