The PROMEV Heavy Duty Wall Mounted Water Hose Holder is sturdy and well made. It attaches easily with the provided screws and anchors (if needed). It easily holds my 50 foot stainless steel hose (see photo) with room to spare. While they list 150 feet capacity in terms of length of hose this will hold, it also says it will support up to 70 pounds. My 50 foot hose is maybe 10 pounds, so I think this could easily hold 200 feet of normal hose. This can, of course, be used to hold more than just garden hoses. It would work well for air hoses, pool hoses, extension cords and could be used to hang a multitude of other items (think bicycles, strollers, lawn chairs and more) in your garage or workshop. In addition, the main hanger section of the metal rod is coated with a foam rubber type substance to help prevent slippage and scratching of the coating on hanger and on the item being hung. This is a great outdoor, heavy duty, hose holder! I screwed mine into an old telephone pole we use as a fence post in the pasture. Easy to do, it took me just a few minutes from start to finish. Ignore "Step 3" shown in their photos unless you are screwing this into drywall or similar material. The screws it came with are sturdy; so sturdy that I actually was able to use them twice -- the first time I screwed in the holder, it was too low on the post so I had to remove all three screws, place the holder higher on the fence post and then screw it all in again. The screws held up just fine! We're storing a heavy, commercial grade, outdoor 100 ft hose on it and there's still room for more hose! The holder makes it so much easier to use and store the 100 ft of hose. We just unwind what we need and leave the rest hanging on the holder. And, even with water in the hose left hanging on it, the holder is stable and able to handle all the extra weight created by the water-filled hose well. Just one thing to note: the blue color is not a light powder blue as shown in their product photos. Instead, it is a dark navy blue which we actually like better! Read more

Well, you don't buy these for looks. Basic, no frills, black. Mounts directly to wall, no moving parts. May not be the best choice for older or shorter or smaller people if you have long hoses, as this solution leaves all the work to you. These racks are plenty strong and have the capacity to hold my 100' long hoses with plenty to spare. They could hold 150' no problem. Maybe 200'! They aren't very pretty, but they aren't meant for show. Black and utilitarian, they don't draw attention. They comes with the hardware you need. They come with ports and anchors for 3 mounting screws. However, these racks are not large so the mounting holes are not very far apart .... 2" between each or so. 3 screws is overkill in such a small space. And I don't want more holes in my wall than necessary. I only installed 2, top and bottom, and they are rock solid. Fine. If mounting onto brick, you'll need masonry bits, and a hammer drill is a big help. You might get it done with twist drillbits and a regular drill ... maybe ... eventually ... and then have a white hot fire hazard. The 1-star ding ... for some reason, these brackets come with silver, zinc(?)-plated undercut philips head screws. You'll need a large Phillips screwdriver or large Phillips bits, which is fine, you'll need the torque. But the screw type is a complete mismatch for these brackets! The brackets are black and NOT countersunk. The brackets are glat plates. They should come with black oxide screws with pan-, button-, or round heads, or with machine screws or lag bolts that you can get a ratchet on, along with the appropriate washers. That aside, even if you spend a little for better screws/bolts, these brackets get the job done at a great price. Read more
