I love the refill. I go through a lot of dish soap since my dishwasher sucks and I have dogs and we cook (a lot!). I love not having to buy multiple bottles that just get tossed out after used. This refill is great and I just refill the bottle I bought last time. I feel less wasteful and it saves a few pennies in the long run. BTW, the soap is great if you've never used it. I love this soap. It works well for being made of naturally derived soaping ingredients. Not the heavy duty dawn you could be looking for, but man does it smell good! I look forward to washing my hands in the kitchen every day! This refill package is innovative, is easy to hold and doesn't have a giant spout like most other bulk refill products. One hint if like me, you're reusing the pump bottle from the initial soap purchase, wash the pump and the bottle in hot water when you go to refill. It keeps the pump mechanism from sticking to itself and jamming up when you need more than one pump in a hurry :) Read more
I actually bought this by accident--I thought I was buying hand soap! But that's okay, because I absolutely LOVE this stuff! Smells great and cuts grease exceedingly well. I haven't noticed it leaving a lingering scent on anything, but I also don't leave plastic dishes in dishwater for any length of time at all because of that very reason. I'm very sensitive to fragrances left on plastic dishes, and I've learned just to wash them as I go rather than chunking them in the dishwater with everything else. Doesn't give the scent time to penetrate the plastic. Will definitely buy this again, even though it's a tad overpriced (or was when I bought it, anyway). Read more
i bought this because i couldnt find seventh generation soap in their citrusy smell. thats probably my favorite ordinary smell for soaps. i bought some meyers soap first, but it smelled terrible, and not just because it wasnt citrusy. so im mixing the two gradually to mask the terrible smell. it is working, thank god. I love this dish soap. Works very well and the scent is fabulous. I like the scent so much that I use it to wash my hands too. Very difficult to find in stores but as usual I can find what I need on Amazon. I like that you can get the refills. Only concern is I don't think the packaging can be recycled. It is a nicely subtle fragrance, and I don't think about it at all until while using it I notice the scent and realize - every time - how much I enjoy it. I originally bought this by mistake, thinking I was buying a refill for a hand soap dispenser. I was happy enough with the Dawn I usually buy in bulk at Coscto and never would pay a premium for a nice smell. Or so I thought until I decided to use this rather than drive back to Target to return the mistaken purchase. After using it up, I was not able to find the same scent on my next shopping trip at Target, which was a bummer. I found it on Amazon and have been prompted to review it so here I am. Enjoy! Method is my favorite brand of cleaning product and this is my new favorite scent! Orangey and clean without smelling like a cleaning product. I have small children and I wash a lot of dishes (way too many dishes) and it is awesome to have this big bag on hand to refill my soap dispenser. So convenient!
