Full disclosure: I don't own any expensive dress shoes, so I'm not sure how these compare. But for $25, I'm very impressed. Love the color and style of these monk straps. They look great with a suit or ever with a pair of jeans. They did have a pretty bad smell out of the box, but that has gone away. After wearing them a month, I'll say they aren't the most comfortable shoes to walk in, but I think that is to be expected. Durability is great so far. I read all the reviews before I bought these, and i was really worried about the sizing and the smell. Actually the sizing was true to size and fits perfectly. They are actually really comfortable. They look really great. Only huge downside for me was the smell, OMG the smell. Horrible chemical smell. Luckily I bought these weeks before the wedding I needed them for, so i threw away the box and let the shoes offgas outside my house, in my garage, until I needed them. Beautiful shoes, for a cheap price, but you will need to let the smell disapate before you wear them. I will only wear them very occasionally, but if you plan on wearing them a lot, i would be worried about how long they would last. If you wear them rarely, then these are a good buy, if you plan to wear them a lot, buy a better quality and real version of this style. These are really good looking shoes. But they didnt fit as well as my Chelsea Boots. I normally wear a 9.5US, and it's hit and miss. And these are kind of a miss. While they look fantastic and classy dressed up, or dressed down, they're a little big, and my foot tends to slide inside them, causing my ankle to scrape the heel of the shoe. I walk a TON in my job, and these ended up rubbing my heels absolutely gnarly raw which sucked for a few days. And it's really a shame because I got a lot of compliments on them. What a bargain. A fraction of the cost to get this style elsewhere, and you'd never know it. I've gotten tons of compliments on this and hope to get it in a variety of colors soon. Fit was just like you'd expect. Color is very sharp and it really looks like a solid shoe. Read more
Love the look of the shoes. They run a LITTLE big, probably a half size. I normally wear a 10 but I think a 9 1/2 would have worked a little better. Read more
Cheap Fake Leather - Returned immediately. They have a horrible petroleum/chemical smell that stinks up the whole room. Don't waste your money. Read more
