I bought these adapters (Apple Lightning to USB-C) because my phone connects to the car by Apple Lightning and my frequent riders connect via USB-C. With these I can keep just one cable in the car and everyone can use it in turn. I use them with Apple Car Play and they work perfectly. The manufacturing is solid, the connection is good, I consider it a quality product. These would be a must for road trips. No more messing around the dash while driving, all the change is at the end of the cable. Pop it on for USB-C, off for lightning. The little rubber collar goes on the adapter and the little circular loop goes over the end of the lightning cable. This solves the problem of where to keep it. These are also good for home. If you have a bunch of old Lightning cables this saves you from buying new cables if you upgrade. Also good if you have guests who need to charge. If you have an older iPad and a newer phone you can use the same cable for both. If you are traveling with iPad-iPhone you can reduce the number of cables you pack. Read more

This adapter works better than I expected. It actually fast charges Lightning devices, which surprised me, and it has been reliable so far with no connection issues. I also really like the design. The small adapter stays attached to the cord when not in use, so it does not get lost or tangled. That little detail makes it much more convenient to keep in a bag or drawer. There are a lot of options to adapt an USB-C cable to lightening but this adapter came with a rubber loop that keeps it attached to the main cable. I am very happy with this feature because I need to charge my Apple AirPods 4 from my computer through the USB-C cable and occasionally use the same cable to charge my old iPhone 11, which requires lightening cable.
