Placed on the scale this necklace only weighs 9 grams for being 5mm wide and 18 inches long. This chain is very light. The individual links are barely 1mm thick by 5mm wide feeling very paper thin. This chain could easily be considered dainty with how it feels even though it attempts to appear bulky. I don't think this chain looks bulky or weighty at all. I can say that because of it's thinness and sleekness, it really lays on the skin nicely. It contours the wearers neck very nicely unlike bulkier chains. Overall this chain seems like very nice quality like all Miabella products I've encountered so far and I already own more than a dozen easily. This is definitely not one of their best value for money spent pieces but it's not one of their worst value pieces either. If you want bulk look with a sleek light feel this would be a good fit. For perspective, Miabella also has a 2mm thin ball chain that still weighs over 8 grams at 22 inches long. Which was surprisingly weighty for how small and thin it appeared. Read more

It’s okay it fit a little smaller on my boyfriend than I thought it would despite measuring him. It looks great though. I’ve purchased a bracelet for him a year ago and it also has stood the test of time and still looks really good so I’m hoping the necklace will as well. Read more

The media could not be loaded. It’s a decent chain for the price, a little on the thin side but you’re only paying upwards of $30. I’ve seen comment with people saying it turned black. 925 silver is composed of just 92.5% mixed with another alloy to strengthen it.
