It's a random piece of fabric. I thought this would be a bit better, but it totally looks like someone went down to Jo-Ann Fabrics or Hobby Lobby or Michaels, went over to the fabric area and said, "I'll take a yard (or whatever) of that." Then he/she took it up, cleaned up the edges so you can't tell it's just a random fabric from the store, rolled it up, and sent it off. I guess it's not false that the towel is non-slip. It stays on your yoga mat just fine. But you'll slip right off of it. First time using it, I almost slipped from down dog to up dog. This thing was completely useless. I would return it, but I used it a few times, and didn't want to send something that I sweat on. Chances are, they'd just wash it and send it to someone else.
