I tried on several of these boots. The hard material at the top jabs into your shins with most steps. And if you need to bend down to pick anything up, and bend with your knees correctly, it jabs even more painfully into the shins enough to leave bruises. I am between a 9 and a 9-1/2. it was the same issue with both sizes. My legs are slim which are narrower than the tops of the boots. But I love the two tone black style, but whomever designed these either: 1 - did not test out the hardness of the material at the top, or 2 - realized this too late in production and decided to try to sell these anyways and give out a torture device. Also, these run big in my opinion. And if they were designed better without breaking my legs, then 9 was the way to go with these boots. But will return. So sad. Read more

Fit was a bit tighter than expected and material was extremely rigid - no room for stretch. I'm usually a size 7 in low to no heel boots, but these would have definitely fit better sizing up. I decided not to keep them because the material was rigid. The color was as expected and the design was on brand. Read more
