Quality: B—This suspender waist belt is well-made of black PU material with a brown faux-suede backing. It is of a medium thickness, not highly rigid and not overly flimsy. The straps seem strong enough to be fastened and unfastened many times without the layers bubbling apart and separating easily, as is often the case with very cheap PU accessories. The design of the large size I ordered consists of a 35" long, slightly over 2.25" wide waist belt that tapers in the front towards the closure, which is an 11" PU strip that buckles into each side. The two adjustable suspender straps originate from the front and connect with the back strap at a 1.25" O-ring; all hardware is made from a lightweight silver-colored alloy. Effectiveness: B—This is an unusual item as it's hard to find accessories of this style that aren't made of the two main standard materials, those being cheap peely vinyl and expensive animal leather. I am seriously impressed by how mid every aspect of this belt is compared to the other things I own; the balance of quality and price are exactly what I'm looking for in a piece like this. The fit was also surprising: As my waist is 33" but I tend to bloat, and as Amazon-sold imports tend to run at least a little small and I'm on the cusp of straight and plus sizes, I decided to get the larger size. It fits loosely enough for me to fit 4 fingers under it at the very smallest setting, I wish I'd actually gotten the smaller one! I would say the larger size would work best for people with waists over 34" and under 46", based on the measurements of the belt itself. Lastly, although the front two suspender straps were adjustable, the back one was not and as a result my short-torsoed self cannot wear it without the O-ring sitting on, and the straps digging into, my neck without adjustment. I'd also prefer if it was black on both sides of the material so I could wear the suspenders down around my hips without the brown showing. Even so, I'm very impressed with this belt. Value: A—The $17.99 sale price is a great value for this accessory; it's a little more expensive than a costume-quality piece but of a much more decent/actually useable quality. Even though the fit was a little off for me, the materials can be feasibly adjusted, and for the price of the belt and the time I'll spend making it work, it's easy to say it's a worthwhile effort. I would recommend this belt to anyone that wants a cheap wardrobe upgrade that doesn't look and feel super cheap like a lot of costume goth pieces do. Read more

Finally a harness that fits larger bodies. I'm size 14/16 and there's still a good amount of room for adjusting the fit of the straps. The leather feels like a sturdy without being too stiff, no weird smell, easy to put on and adjust, and looks super cool over dresses. Absolutely worth getting. Read more

such a cute accessory it is a bit out of my comfort zone but when I saw it I knew I wanted to at least try! I am 5'2 and 130 lbs and the size fits perfectly because you are able to adjust it as much as needed. It is a bit complicated to put on at first but once you have it adjusted it is a very cute accessory for like a ren fair or just every day wear. Absolutely love this harness and can be dressed up and down if need be, i threw this on first day and forgot i had it on almost took a nap in it because i forgot i had it on and my bf reminded me. The build quality of this is great and it seems it will last quite sometime. So if ya need something comfortable where you do not know you are wearing it this is it. First of all, I love this cool little belt/vest situation. It brings me back to my punk emo phase and immediately makes me feel hot while wearing it. I’m still trying to figure out how to style it for casual wear, though. As for sizing, I got the smaller size.
