I bought the cheapest cables I could find to exclusively use with my Wyze brand home security cameras. The ones that came with the cameras are way too short and they are simply complete Chinese garbage! I was more than pleasantly surprised just how incredibly great these Oillgle cables are. I bought these charging cables mainly for installing smart Wi-Fi cameras. The original cables that come with the cameras are usually too short, especially if you're mounting them on the ceiling. These cables worked perfectly for that—I was able to hot glue them neatly in a straight line along the wall, and it looks clean and professional. I also used one of the cables to charge my phone, which was super convenient. Right now, I’m writing this review from my bed with the cable stretched all the way to the socket—couldn’t be happier with that setup. However, I noticed something over the past few days—initially, the cable charged my phone really fast. But now, less than a month later, it’s barely charging at all. I tested the same adapter with a different cable and it charged fine, so the problem is clearly with this cable. I suspect someone might’ve used it on a different phone and possibly bent the pins in the port, affecting performance. I would buy them again considering the value, but I have noticed that the black and white threaded wire cover is pulling back at the end near the base of the part that plugs into my phone and has caused a kink in the cord so it's no longer straight but stuck at a 90 degree angle which over time will cause a short I'm sure. For the price of buying three braided cables versus one braided cable it was ended up being cheaper by like five bucks so the length is perfect.
