This came hygienically sealed and wrapped, which is important for a product like this. I peeled it open, doused it with some rubbing alcohol, and got to it! It has been many years since I used a tool like this, so I wanted to start on the lowest setting. It almost looks like there isn't anything there but the needles are poking out just slightly. After thoroughly washing and drying my face, I began on my forehead and just started stamping all over until I got to my neck. I found it difficult to stamp my nose but I don't know if this tool is intended for that. After finishing my face on the lowest level, I decided to turn it half way between lowest and the next measured depth. I repeated the whole process. After that second time, it was noticeable that I had something to my face, in terms of mild pain and some redness. Now, bear in mind that it just did the process twice, and I also was in the sun all day. Probably not the smartest time to start, but oh well! I then covered my face with vitamin E oil, and some seabuckthorn ointment after the oil had mostly absorbed. I woke up with smooth, not at all irritated skin. I plan on implementing a regime with this tool as in general, these are really effective at improving the texture of your skin. If this is the kind of tool you are looking to begin using, this particular one seems to be a fine choice. The dermastamp has a top groove for a more comfortable finger position. The knob is adjustable for you desired needle lemgth from 0 to 3.0, the only downside being that you can't clearly see the arrow indicating the current legth choosen. The device also has a cap that protects the needles from damage. I have yet to see new hair growth so i currently can't vouch for its effectiveness but i will update in a few months. I do clean it with lukewarm/hotter water and then 99% alcohol spray but confirming that it is fully dried/disinfectrd prior to closing the cap over the needles is hard to tell. Read more
