I bought this back in April 2019 when I got a new laptop for college as a freshman. I just graduated from college, and it is still in pristine condition!! No huge scratches surprisingly, just a few scuffs from not taking care of it as well I should have. It still uses really low amounts of battery--the battery longevity works like it was just bought. I've been stuffing it in my backpack all the time and it's fallen to the floor a few times. I did not use a mousepad either (hence the scratchy bottom, even though I should've to protect it). It's gone through a lot of use, as I have NEVER used any other mouse other than this one for 3 years. I needed a small mouse because my small hands couldn't handle the normal-sized ones. This was the perfect size for me. My fingers were finally able to touch the front end of the mouse, so I didn't need so much pressure to click as with a larger mouse. I'm upgrading from a 3500, which I loved. But I was wanting to get away from the dongle, and was wanting to try out the BlueTrack technology. I looked at the 4000 and didn't like it. Too many buttons and it didn't feel quite as comfortable as what I was wanting. Then I found this, the 3600. It works well on all surfaces, feels great ergonomically, nice touch to it, no connection issues, and minimal functionality. Everything seemed perfect! Scrolling was great, despite no indentions on the wheel like I'm used to. But then I noticed when I "clicked" the mouse wheel, it felt like it clicked about three or four times. It's because there is a four-way scrolling feature, where pushing the wheel to either side will scroll horizontally. It could be useful in some very situational cases, which I am okay with. The problem is that it clicks similarly to when you push down the wheel. It won't actually do the mouse click action four times, but it may be irritating if you're a person with OCD. Without the additional "clicks" from the four-way scrolling (or without the entire feature of four-way scrolling), this would be a perfect product. This mouse is the perfect balance. It has the basic features you need (right, left, wheel click, wheel scroll, and some other stuff with the wheel I do not use). It is ergonomic but not outrageous. It is small but comfortable in my hand (man who wears medium gloves). Battery life is long and setup is a snap. Easy to change between computers if you need to (but I just bought two - one red and one black to separate which is mapped to which computer). Read more

This mouse works exactly the way i want it to and works superbly for my unique situation. I usually game with a wired mouse with my laptop BUT when I want to use it for my casual things like browsing the web, watching Twitch.tv, or anything like that, while utilizing my lapdesk, this bluetooth mouse has proved invaluable. My laptop's headphone jack is on the righthand side and so is the built in mousepad on my lapdesk, so if i were to use my headphones and wired gaming mouse, it really makes the righthand side of my work/play space very cumbersome with the wires. With the Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile mouse, i am free of the clutter and the USB port that would ordinarily be taken up by a dongle is free to use for something else if the need should arise. It works perfectly for my specfic needs. Pairing the mouse was easy and i have not run into any issues with it. Read more
