This is really cute and the squeaky ball inside seems very durable. The gnome itself, not so durable. My dog is a soft player but the seam along the hat as well as the top of the hat have ripped and stuffing is coming out. We now only play with this toy when a human can watch. Consuming stuffing is dangerous and can be deadly. My dog also doesn't like the beard on the gnome. The material is how you'd expect a beard to be but my dog doesn't like the feel of it. We're basically just waiting for the rest of the toy to break and we'll pull the ball out to play with. A little overpriced for lack of durability and I won't buy it again but it is cute and if you have a dog that prefers to cuddle their toys or just walk around with them it should be fine. Read more

It’s cute, squeaks and the dog likes it. The beard hair is a little tough on the old dog with his jowls though, gets kinda drool-laden. Really this is more of a squeak toy than a ball of any kind though. Not sure why it’s marketed as a ball other than the fact that the gnome is kind of round. But dogs are happy and so are we!
