I hated putting my Great Dane in her crate. She was crate trained since a pup, so she was fine. It was ok for her size, but I hated that she couldn’t fully stand up or stretch out. I searched and read reviews on larger options. This one had great reviews and looked large enough to meet my requirements. It arrived quickly and immediately I was super impressed with the quality. So much better than most. The crate is made of thick, tough metal. It might be tough enough to crate a Malinois! Definitely strong enough for my 145 lb Great Dane. Set-up was really easy and didn’t require a bunch of tools. I would highly recommend looking at the pictures and labeling the pieces before getting in started. It makes it easier, you don’t have to keep referring to the pictures. Once it was up, we tried it out. I was overjoyed - seriously! It was SO big!! Bigger than I expected-it was perfect! She has so much room- she actually can horse jump onto her back legs a little. She can spread paws out comfortably. I couldn’t be happier. Honestly, look no further- you could not find a larger, better quality crate of you tried. Absolutely a fantastic value too -worth every penny. I am 100% guilt-free putting my girl in her “room”. This is the perfect size and a great unit for a Pomeranian. Goes well together with a small fence we bought and it’s enough room for her to get up walk around adjust her bed and stretch without being too confined. Very well-made rolls around easily and it’s easy and lightweight enough to move without a problem. This is our second one. We love it just as much as the first. Read more

Great crate! Easy to set up and collapse. I travel with it. The tray is easy to clean. It is secure and easy to open. The 36in is perfect for my 35-40lbs puppy. The size chart is accurate. I like the extra divider that can be used to make the crate smaller hence prevent potty accidents. The color is still on after 3 weeks of puppy chewing and distruction! Highly recommend for any crate training dog. I cover 3 sides of the crate with bedsheets for extra warmth and to prevent distractions. I would buy this again if i need to raise a puppy again Read more

The media could not be loaded. Very sturdy XL crate. It is the perfect size for my 75 lb puppy Justin. Easy to set up and break down and relocate it in the house. Comes with a divider and handle grip. Reasonably priced. I would recommend it. Read more

Excellent Construction, But the 48-Inch Was Too Large for My Space. I purchased this MidWest iCrate based on the brand's reputation for quality, and I was not disappointed with the build. Quality: The crate is still good quality. The metal wire is thick, the secure latches are reliable, and the folding design, along with the leak-proof tray, confirms its durability and ease of use. The Issue: Unfortunately, the 48-inch size for XL breeds was too big for the specific area I needed it for in my home. It was an error on my part in measuring my space! Outcome: I returned it solely due to the size issue and plan to re-order the next size down from the same brand. If you have a large-to-extra-large dog and the space to accommodate a 48-inch crate, this is a sturdy and well-designed choice. I definitely suggest this brand for quality construction! Read more

I have purchased three sizes of this kennel. The kennel is easy to set up and taken down. I appreciate the crate having two doors, so you have more options for where you set it up. My only caveat, if you have a dog that struggles with being kenneled and is an escape artist, you may want a more reinforced kennel. For the average person, with a dog that does well in a crate, this is perfect. Read more

I purchased the 42" crate. I'm a 5'2" female and I was able to get it in my door and move it around the house, mainly by sliding it. It is a bulky size for me, a little heavy, but not bad. I was able to cut the tape around the box and unload it. It is very compact and the whole thing moves together. After reading the instructions a couple of times, I figured out how to put it together. It was really simple in the end. It is very sturdy, was not shaky at all. Unfortunately, my rescue dog, who was previously crate trained, did not want to go in it, or at least stay in it. She is a 50 lb. Chow Chow and she fit in it easily! She could turn around with plenty of room to spare. When she did go in it, it was very sturdy and did not shake or make any noise. But, probably because we give her the run of the house, she really didn't want to stay in it, so I let her roam. She really didn't use it, so I am returning it, and the return process is very easy!! Box it back up, and take to a UPS store, no label printing or anything. I would highly recommend this crate if you have a dog that likes to be crated. It is very sturdy, has two doors that are easy to open and close, and a crate divider. It doesn't make any shaking noise when the dog goes in or out. My dog doesn't like to be crated, so its a return for me and I am greatly appreciative of how easy that process was! Read more
