I am pleasantly surprised by how much I like these boy shorts. For a couple of years, I've been wearing a similar brand that's 100% cotton. As I have lost 80 pounds, my all-cotton collection started hanging loosely on me. Knowing I was going to lose more, I decided to seek out a cotton blend that would stay better fitted over time. When I first received my package and pulled out the first pair, I was worried that maybe the fabric blend might not be as cotton-like as I had hoped. I also held them up to me and was sure these would be too tight. I was wrong on both accounts. These are way more stretchy than originally suspected—not too tight around the legs or waist. They fit securely everywhere without being restricting, and they feel soft like cotton. The cotton gusset also provides the comfortable breathability I like. The general fit is lovely. Even though most of my weight in the middle, the rise is definitely high, reach just touching the bottom of my belly button. They cover my entire bottom, fitting somewhere between a full brief and a boy short and don't leave any impression lines where the seams lay on the skin for hours each day. Zero issues with ridding up, shifting around, or rolling down. I used to order a 5x in my old collection. Right now, I'm about a size 22/24 in pants. My waist is about 47” and upper thigh circumference is about 30”. I'm 5’11” and weigh just under 240lbs, larger in the waist and hips. I ordered the 4X based on the size chart (which I rarely trust) and reviews. These fit me perfectly and are wonderfully stretchy. Even when stretched, the fabric doesn't become sheer. The most comfortable underwear I've ever worn. I've been wearing them for about a year now and they've held up quite well. The only problem I've had is that one pair faded out. Not sure how since I only washed them in cold water. The fit is roomy and the cotton is very sturdy. These are also good to lounge around the house in during the warmer months. Plenty of stretch and definitely breathable...I will actually sleep in these comfortably. I really love the higher waist as it's much more flattering. I like to wear these to sleep. I am a size 12 and ordered a 2x and they fit perfect for pajamas. For reference, I carry my weight in my waist and have smaller butt/hips and legs. I love them and would definitely order again. They are VERY high waisted so I’m not sure how these would be for regular underwear. Read more
