Excellent backup battery for garage door opener
My original Chamberlain backup battery expired after 9 years ( it began beeping to notify me that it needed to be replaced). I removed it to stop the beeping and debated whether to replace it. I found the Mighty Max on Amazon and decided to buy it since it was affordable and produced in the U.S. The battery arrived the next day, fully charged, and was easily installed. It was compatible and I tested it by unplugging my door opener and raising my door using battery power. It worked perfectly. I will be extremely pleased if it lasts 9 years like the original. Good battery for the money
I bought this battery to replace the one in my garage door opener (with battery backup). The battery is in the opener head and is in continuous trickle charge in case the power goes out. I’ve been buying them for several years. They last about 18 months each before the opener starts to beep letting me know that the battery is no longer holding a charge and needs replacing. Read more

Perfect Fit and Performance to Replace OEM
I have a Chamberlain smart garage door opener B970 that was installed in early 2019. I started to hear chirping in the garage and soon discovered that the OEM battery finally needed to be replaced. I found the MightyMax replacement and ordered it. It took no more than 10 minutes to remove the cover plate and change out the batteries. The MightyMax fit perfectly and was the exact size as the OEM. The control panel showed it charging and a few hours later it was fully charged.
