This bed itself is fantastic, and a good size for the price. My 8 year old beagle was achy after playing with his girl. We wanted a bed to put on his coolaroo. I’m going to be honest. I was initially disappointed when this arrived. It was flat as a pancake and I couldn’t see any way that this was going to expand. The instructions tell you to give it 24 hours and I will say I think it took more like 48 but it honestly expanded to the full 4 inches as advertised. It’s a very nice bed for the money. The value is there. And our extra large dog loves it. I would take a chance on it and just set aside your initial reaction when it arrives because it really does inflate as advertised. It’s thick and our dog seems to be very comfortable on it. I would buy it again. Read more

If I could give this a 6th star, I would. We have tried a lot ot dog beds from Amazon. Some are very rigid and some are so soft and thin and lose their shape in the wash. This one is the perfect blend of softness and pliability while holding it's form after being washed. The top of the bed is a very soft velvety material that the dogs love. The bed is easy to clean and fibers do not stick to it like on some other washable beds. On top of it, this bed is one of the least expensive on Amazon. So great that we bought some backup beds for our pack. Great product. Read more
