We bought this product to have in case of emergencies for our kids when they were out and about. They have already been put good. Use several times and worked great! A great value for the cost for sure. Read more

It is a battery and works. Other than that: The pictures here are very misleading. They make it look like it attaches to the back of the phone (magnet?). If you want to use your phone while it is attached forget it unless you keep it in your pocket and buy a long USB extension. The pictures also make it look amazingly slim. It is fatter than my iPhone. Read more

I really should have invested in something like this a long time ago! I don't know if it's because I have a lot of apps loaded on my phone or because I play a few games or watch videos on there, but I seem to lose charge very quickly and it seems like once it gets below 50% it exponentially goes down faster until I'm left with a dead battery, usually at the worst possible times. I've seen powerbanks before but always assumed they were a clunky hassle and more trouble than they're worth. I wish I had gotten one sooner. This one has already saved me from a dead battery several times. I actually feel like anyone on a road trip or heading out for the day should keep an extra powerbank with them at all times just for basic safety reasons. There's nothing worse I can imagine than having a dead battery in a life or death situation and not being able to use your phone to call for help. I keep a charger in my phone but this is perfect for when I'm traveling, hiking, out in nature, or at appointments during the day. This might sound silly but I get hair extensions put in every few months and the removal, hair cut and color, and re-application process takes all day. I'll never forget not bringing my charger to the salon and having my phone go dead while at the salon and not having the means to be able to use my phone to call for an uber to pick me up! Or not being able to check out my flight details on my phone while traveling because my phone went dead. This is also perfect for long flights- my phone always goes dead on flights and there is no way to charge them so I don't have in-flight entertainment or games on my phone while traveling and sometimes there is no time to charge them in between quick layovers. I've had to sit at an airport and wait for my phone to charge before I could turn it on and order a car to take me to my hotel before. I really feel lost and disoriented without my phone so this is a godsend for me. This powerbank works exactly as described. It also has a USB-C and lightning charger which is perfect for my phone. I don't use a USB-C but several of my relatives do so I'm glad to have it just in case they need to charge their phones while we are traveling. The charger for the actual device was a little different. It connects to a USB-C so I basically had to buy a USB-C wall block connector in order to charge it, which was a little unconventional. I would think that if they had a typical USB-A that might work better for a lot of people because a lot of hotels and airports have a USB-A. I suppose you could get a C to A converter which would take up less space than a plug in wall charger but I just got a plug in wall charger because I know I'll always be able to find a wall outlet somewhere but I may not always be able to find a USB-A plug-in. The size is a real benefit. It's cute and slim but still holds enough of a charge to fully charge your phone at least 2 times. I can't really imagine a scenario where I would need it to charge my phone more than twice without being able to recharge my phone using a conventional wall charger, so this is more than sufficient for my needs. I suppose if you were taking multi- day trips in the wilderness or wanted something to keep your phone charged remotely for an entire week or so you might want to upgrade to something bigger. I think most of the other powerbanks I've seen though are somewhat bulky and clunky compared to this one, so this is nice that I can actually just quickly pack it into my purse or travel bag without it taking over the entire bag. It doesn't charge your phone super fast, but I personally could care less. I just plug it in and keep my phone either in my purse or in front of me and I can still use it while it's charging up so it doesn't matter to me one way or another. If you're a man who doesn't wear a purse, you could easily slip this into your back pocket and charge your phone with it while you're out and about so I don't think it should really matter. Charging speed only bothers me when I'm using a wall charger and it won't charge quickly and I need to grab my phone and take it with me somewhere. This charger can easily go with you so it defeats the purpose of caring about the charging speed in my opinion. All in all, this is a nice slim portable charger that has a lot of power in a small and compact design. This is a good thing for everyone to carry with them for basic safety reasons- 5 stars! This two-pack came with two portable chargers in one package (so no divvying them up into the stockings). Each one is about the size of a wallet (2.75"Wx 4.24"L x .3"H) and weighs exactly 6 oz. There are two colored USBc-USBc short cables for recharging/charging your phone. There are two built-in cords that wrap around the battery for permanent storage so you'll never be without a cord: one is lightning and one is USB-C. They're rubber-y and 4" long. Out of the box, each battery was charged to about 75%, judging from the lighted circle on the power button. The box says these are "3A Fast Charge." So I put my new iPhone 17 Pro Max in airplane mode, plugged it into the battery, and set a stopwatch. At the end of 5 minutes I had gained 5%, or roughly 1%/minute. I like the compactness of these batteries, I love that they have sleek built-in cords so I can just throw the battery in my bag and I'm ready to go. I wish I could re-charge these without also needing a cord - it would've been pretty slick if it could recharge from its own built-in cord like another external battery I have. But the power-in cord is not a built-in feature. In the diagram in the User's Manual, it shows three devices charging at the same time, one from the center port as well. Both the User Manual and the product packaging reflect a translation-to-English vs. native English wording, which can make it just a little stilted to read. The box says the lifespan of the batteries is 500 recharges. I haven’t had these that long, so I can’t confirm. I've been reading more and more about how dangerous it is to charge your phone from unfamiliar ports/outlets, like at the airport, due to scammers gaining access to your device through false USB ports. In addition to being prepared in case of an emergency, I think it's more and more important to be your own source of power by carrying backup batteries. Read more
