Milani Conceal Perfect Liquid Contour for Added Definition Face Lift Collection - Cocoa

I very rarely want to leave more than 5 stars, but the Conceal & Perfect Undereye Brightener 01 Rose is great. I'm 52 & this doesn't crease or make my undereyes creepy. It gives just enough coverage to brighten & hide the dark circles. It feels moisturizing & light on the skin. And the price is just an added bonus. For reference, I have fair cool complexion. I wear this alone without foundation. I used to use Tarte's Shape Tape, but the coverage is too heavy for my ageing skin. I tried the Milani on a whim because it was on sale for Black Friday. But I'm very glad I did. This product brightens but it's not true color correction. It does give light concealment on it's own, but If you're looking for a concealer with more opaque coverage that also brightens, try Jeffree Star in one of the pinks. These Milani correctors, contours, and highlighters are getting a lot of buzz and good reviews on social media, but I’m finding them all to be a little underwhelming. Especially this one, the corrector. It’s too sheer to be effective, though the tone (of the pink shade) is right for my skin tone personally. I do not enjoy the applicator at all, very messy and wasteful. But after applying to my dark circles and blending out, I can barely tell I did any correction at all. It’s too sheer to actually brighten or camouflage the darkness. The texture is fine, it’s not too creamy or too dry. If it had more pigmentation I’d like it more. As it is, I still use the same amount of concealer with or without this product, so it’s just a waste of time. I did add a star to my review because it doesn’t crease up or look cakey on my skin at all, so it won’t ruin your makeup or anything, it just won’t make a difference to dark circles. For reference, I’m a light skin tone (not super fair) with cool undertones, dry skin and under eyes. Read more
