This foldable laptop stand delivers far more than I expected from such a lightweight and compact accessory. It’s designed for mobility, and it absolutely nails that goal—once folded, it’s barely thicker than a hardcover notebook and slips easily into a backpack sleeve or laptop case. The included drawstring pouch is a nice bonus for keeping it scratch-free during travel. Despite weighing next to nothing (roughly 5 ounces), it feels stable when set up. I tested it with both a 13-inch MacBook Air and a 15-inch Dell XPS, and the stand handled the weight without any wobble or sag. The aluminum frame locks solidly in place, and the silicone pads on the contact points keep your device secure while preventing any scuffs. It’s clearly designed with attention to detail—no sharp edges, no flimsy plastic hinges. The 8-level height adjustment system is easy to use and offers enough range to accommodate different setups, whether you’re sitting at a kitchen table or trying to get a better viewing angle during a video call. Each step raises the height by about half an inch, and the levels feel deliberate rather than arbitrary. Once set, it stays locked in place, even during light typing or touch gestures. The extra features are a welcome surprise. It supports tablets and phones, and the included magnetic plate and adhesive ring let you use it as a vertical phone holder if needed. I also appreciated the open-frame design that promotes airflow—my MacBook stayed noticeably cooler during Zoom calls and editing sessions than when it was flat on a desk. As a bonus, it’s tripod-compatible and can double as a mini stand for video or photography if you’re shooting with a phone. It’s not just a laptop stand—it’s a multi-use tool that covers a lot of ground in a minimalist form. If you’re looking for a portable stand that doesn’t sacrifice function for convenience, this one is worth it. It’s light, tough, easy to use, and genuinely improves your setup whether you’re at home or on the move. Read more

There are so many different laptop stand styles available, but this has to be my absolute favorite compact stand. Here are the things I like about this stand: Compact and light - This stand folds into a very compact form. As an added benefit, the compact nature of this stand makes it very light weight in comparison to most stands. Sturdy - Usually when a laptop stand is compact and/or light weight, this comes at the expense of either versatility or sturdiness or both. However, this stand is made entirely of metal with only the little pegs keeping the laptop / phone / monitor from sliding off being made from plastic. There are also strips of silicon to protect your device from being scratched, but otherwise the stand is all metal. Ridiculously easy to use - In part due to the compact size, unfolding and setting up the stand is extremely easy. Versatility - The stand can be configured to hold a laptop, a tablet, a portable monitor, or even a phone. I own four of these stands now. Why? I carry two with one laptop - one for the laptop and another for a portable monitor. I have a second laptop and monitor with which I carry two more. As compact as these are, I can easily carry two in each laptop bag. I have tested this stand with various smart phones oriented both vertically and horizontally, a tablet, several portable monitors ranging in size from 10.5 inches to 16 inches and several laptops. You may want to take into consideration that this stand is not really height adjustable. It is mainly for standing your device upright (in the case of a phone, tablet, or monitor) or to elevate the laptop off the desk surface. Because of the compact size, high quality, sturdy build, versatility, and excellent value I consider this a must have item. Read more

I am reviewing the miley Portable Foldable Laptop Stand at the cost of $19.99. I gave it 4.5 stars because it delivers on stability once you work through the learning curve, but getting there requires more patience than I expected. My first attempts with both a tablet and laptop felt frustratingly wobbly. Typing made the whole setup shift, and touchscreen navigation felt shaky enough to make me second-guess my purchase. But here's the thing: once I spent about 15 minutes adjusting the leg angles and finding the sweet spot, the stand locked in solidly. The aluminum construction holds its position well, and the wobbles are fixable if you're willing to experiment. The 8 height levels give you real flexibility, though moving between them takes some trial and error. Where it shines is the better viewing angles you can get for tablets and laptops compared to the basic prop and angle latch stands around this price range. Compared to the Nulaxy C3 at $24.99, which has a simpler fixed-angle design, the miley offers more adjustability but sacrifices some instant stability. The MOFT adhesive stands are more travel-friendly but limit you to just a couple of angles. For five bucks less, the miley gives you more options if you're okay with the setup time. If you work from multiple locations and need different viewing angles, this stand works well once you learn its quirks. Just budget 10-15 minutes on first use to dial in your preferred configurations. After that, it's stable enough for daily typing and stays put where you set it. Read more
