I chose this model over the many offered with clear viewing glass. I don't like looking at light bulbs. The milk glass serves to soften yet provide adequate lighting without shadows. I chose the matt black finish on a light medal surface and it was easily installed by handyman over the old removed lighting. It has a dimmable feature if you already have that function or want to add in the future. I am happy with my purchase and the esthetics of the product. Read more
