LOVE!!! Just perfection, great flavors, easy prep, warm & comforting, I order often
Millie's sipping broths are SO good. I like them all. What I like is that they have a full bodied mouth feel, and really good flavor (to me). So easy to prepare, and feels like I am consuming something substantial. Fresh tasting. Nice punch of flavor, not flat tasting. Can use more water (& longer steep) to create more if prefer. I had first tried Millie's on a whim. I had 1st tried "Delight Pho", which is amazing, and I fell in love. Then I tried Tomato Basil-- YUM. I hadnt tried Thai Lemongrass or Spicy Tortilla, so I bought this variety pack to be able to try them without having a bigger box of each in case I didnt like. Well, I like those too! Spicy Tortilla may be my least fave, but it isnt because it is not good, it is just not the flavor profile I want for that cozy sipping. It definitely has that meal vibe, if that makes sense. However, because of that, I have used it to add a few bits of food (like rice, beans, pasta, maybe veg, chicken-- just little bits that I may have left overs of) for a quick mini "meal". Or if I make a bean burrito, I like having this to round out my little meal. It has its purpose. =============== UPDATE: I still love Millie's broths, but currently am obsessed with this Spicy Tortilla flavor. I am currently strict KETO/KETOVORE, and have nearly no appetite. Yet drinking broth rocks my world, and drinking this flavor (because it is more meal like in taste) has become my go-to. I add nothing to it, just tastes like perfection to me. Funny how that works out. :) =============== I will keep buying this variety pack because I like them all. Your experience may vary. Food stuffs is very subjective. I am 100% in love with Millie's sipping broths, and I am so glad I discovered them. It was like I found something I didnt know I was looking for but very much needed. It sparks joy and all that :) I like "sipping broths" for times I want something to warm me up but yet I dont want coffee, tea, or cocoa. I may not want to make soup. I just want something simple. I have a wide variety of "sipping broth" powders, but Millie's is so far the best. I also like Vigors Adaptogenic Tea which is also a tea bag style broth. I like Millies for the soup vibe, and I like Vigors for the herbally broth vibe. As for other brands.. they do in a pinch. Some taste good but the settling is annoying. I find no settling with the tea bag style. With Millie's sometimes I can get a second "brew", albeit weaker. Or I can just add more water from the get go. The recommended 8 ounces is very good, a bit salty, but really quite comforting. I have found that it tastes plenty good with 10-12 ounces too. Love a nice big mug of something warm. While I should count calories, I dont. But if I were, I would be relying on these even more so. Low cal, moderate sodium. Tasty. Gives body and tastebuds sense of having eaten something. Good option for times when belly isnt up for much, and so on. I dont rate on price. It is an item I now have on Subscribe & Save. Weather just turned cold, this is my go-to when I want some warmth with flavor. Read more
