Love Milton water bottles. We have multiple kinds, and they appear to last basically forever - or until my husband sets one down somewhere and forgets to pick it back up again! BTW - a few other reviewers said that the clips break eventually on these water bottles. The lid also snaps - the clip is just extra security to keep the lid closed. You wouldn't be able to hold the water bottle upside down and shake it with no leakage if the clip broke, but the cap will still stay closed, and dropping the bottle wouldn't result in a huge mess even with a broken clip. We got these for our kids to have at school. They were great for the first couple months, but they don’t hold up too well after being dropped a couple times. For the price it’s good, but I think I’ll have to get something a little more sturdy so I won’t have to buy water bottles every couple of months. It’s also hard to clean the cap area where the seal is on the inside. We noticed mold in there where we can’t reach. We ended up using our reusable straw brush from a different purchase just to get in there to clean it, and that didn’t even work that well. Read more

I am happy with this purchase it holds more water than a plastic bottle and is reuseable! I like that they came in a variety of colors so I don’t get mine / my partners bottles mixed up. the open mouth design makes its super easy to clean. The bottle itself comes with a string to hold it but otherwise the shape fits nicely to grip in your hand as well. I have had different set of Milton water bottles for years that we have loved. So I tried this set out because it was bigger. I am disappointed with the lids. They feel cheap, likely to break in a few short weeks/months and have leaked several times. It’s hard to tighten fully as it feels like the open top section where it connects will break and have dislocated the locking mechanism several times and had to fix it. I am not one to leave reviews unless I feel strongly about a product for the good or bad. This one is for the bad. First of all.. I hope you have some lemon oil on hand to get the stickers off they put on them.. then there is the smell of the plastic.. This cannot be good for you. One of them broke within the first 2 days of use and I am sure the others are soon to follow. There are a couple of things I do like if they could get the bad fixed. The shape is great, so easy to hold compared to most. and the easy clean. That was why I ordered them. I have been a Contigo user for many years but I just do not feel like I ever really can get them clean. These are great in that way. For now.. I will go back to Contigo and deal with that to avoid the bad from these. If the could up the quality on these they would be a great option. Read more
