I'm 5'1" 106 pounds and went with xsmall which was true to size and a perfect fit. Normally I size up in shorts so they are loose around the legs and don't expose my upper thighs but I'm glad I didn't with this set. The shorts are a wider loose and relaxed fit around the legs which I love. The shirt is a shorter fit but works for me because I'm so short. I have the shorts pulled high waisted and show just a little bit of skin in the back which looks sexy and flattering. The shorts fit perfectly around my hips but when wearing them high waisted they are slightly loose but not too much. They do have an elastic band around the back of the shorts. The buttons are functional. This set is made of an average quality thinner and lightweight material. This outfit is well made and looks exactly like the ad. Very affordable and a great deal.
