I purchased this outfit as part of my 1920s detective costume for a Murder Mystery dinner I hosted. It was the PERFECT aesthetic for the era, and one of the biggest aspects I was looking for was an outfit I could wear again, unlike those cheap Halloween costumes that have practically one wear. The quality was much higher than I was expecting, the material was nice and thick, and feels as though it will be pretty durable. The fit, for the most part, was pretty good; the vest fit wonderfully, it was the perfect length, and the shoulders fit exactly as they should compared to other vests I've tried as a fuller-busted woman. I have a high waist, so the skirt did appear much shorter on me than expected, but it was still a classy length, especially with tights added. The color was gorgeous and easily wearable with multiple layers of colors. I ordered a size small, which is my true size across all brands. My only complaint is that the skirt fits a bit smaller than a true small size should. It was not unwearable, just a bit snug. Ultimately, I received a ton of compliments on my outfit, and I look forward to seeing what other outfits I can pair these pieces with. Read more

I ordered the brown in medium. So I like the style and general fit of the vest. I could have gotten a large, but the skirt would have been too big. The material is ok quality not heavyweight at all. The skirt is a good fit in the waist, but the pleats seem a little off, hoping that will iron out. * 3 stars since this is my second time ordering this product.
