I bought an XL and this coat weighs 7+ lbs. Very heavy.. a good thing. Weigh your other jackets to compare. Very thick Leather, Reinforced and Riveted Shoulder Patches. Heavy Zippers. Removable liner kept me warm in 20 degree weather. Lots of vents for summer motorcycling with snaps to open vents even more. A single cigarette style zipped pocket on left of chest, two zipped pockets for hands, the rest of the zippers are vents. IPod pocket inside with hole for earbuds and a velcro wire holder further up on zipper. Gun pocket with elastic sleeve for barrel. My Full Sized Sig P320 .45 was nearly impossible to remove due to Picatinny Rail catching sleeve. My Springfield 1911 fit better but still hung on the sight blade. My S&W Model 27 .357 Revolver would not fit into the pocket. Ha! Regardless which gun you put in here, quick draws are negated. It is very stiff, but that is to be expected with this leather. My last cheepo leather jacket lasted thirty years, this should last me till I am dead and get passed to one of my boys. First thing I did was order up a size (2XL) and glad I did. I wanted to be able to wear a sweatshirt under this but not sure I’ll be able to. The jacket fits great in the body but is likely too small in the arms for wearing anything but a long sleeve shirt. The arms tapper a lot. This is built well and looks great, heavy zippers and love the concealment pockets. This is my second riding jacket and it ranks right up there with many other manufacturers that charge more than twice as much. I'm 6'6" 315 lbs . I got the 4xl and it fits me perfect. The color is way better than the pictures, and I am impressed with everything about this jacket. It's still around 30⁰ F here and the jacket was warm while not riding. I don't know about riding, still too much snow and salt right now to take out my bike. My only thing was that they didn't check this jacket well enough before they sent it to me because they're was a bad rub on the back that went through the finish of the leather. Other than that everything is great. I would definitely still recommend and would still buy another jacket from Milwalkee Leather because I had the option to return it, but didn't think it necessary to waste everyone's time, plus leather is a natural material and isn't always perfect. I have not yet ridden with it but both with and without the liner it fits well. I am 6’ 2” and about 280 right now and I like how this fits. I would guess that I could get into the 2x but I am sure it would be a little tighter than I would want. Read more

Best riding jacket I have ever owned. It's got just the right amount of padding. And fits me perfectly. The removable winter liner is really nice so It doubles as a colder weather jacket and a warmer weather jacket. Without the linear you can ride comfortably in weather probably in the 60s with the liner I have ridden in weather as low as 45° and still been comfortable. Not necessarily warm but not cold either. I even wear it when I go out places without the motorcycle it's that nice. If you are wearing it just as a winter jacket it will keep you warm in 30° weather. I can even use the pockets on the inside to conceal carry my handgun. For the price you are getting a really nice jacket. Sure you can spend $300+ on a nice harley leather jacket but at that point you are just paying for the name. I'd pick a Milwaukee leather jacket over a harley jacket anyday. Read more

This is actually the second one of these coats I have purchased. Lost weight and needed to get a smaller size. Heavy, durable, very functional. Vents are great, concelled carry pockets. Zip out liner for extra warmth. What more could you ask for at this price point? Read more

This thing is giant around the belly, perfect for men with a 30+ lbs beer belly or more. Certainly not for standard, thin, or in any way athletic men. The XL is cut real thin in the sleeves and extremely wide around the waist, more like a girly dress. I'm 6ft 2in athletic maybe lightly beefy from the gym but no Arnold and no belly, was unable to move arms after wearing it with just in a thin long t-shirt. Based on that huge waist cut I assume the 2XL maybe even larger around the belly area... I'm 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with long arms and this XL fits like it was tailored specifically for me. Love the distressed look and how the leather doesn't even need to be broken in! Perfect fit! I love all the vents and attention to detail. I am going to garage sale all my other jackets! Read more
