I’m new to riding motorcycles and this was my first jacket purchase. I love jackets. I’m a jacket junkie and have way too many. Just never can find the perfect jacket. I ordered this really knowing nothing at all about riding jackets. I read the reviews and saw the same comments about armor and protection. I wanted something that was mesh, not leather, as it would be warm to hot during most of my riding season. I guess I didn’t read the description well enough, as when the jacket arrived I was really surprised! First off, the weight got me. I’ve never had a jacket weigh so much! (Stop laughing, I didn’t know.) Yeah, the armor takes up weight and I didn’t think about the fact that you are pretty much always sitting while wearing it. Then I noticed the lining. Or “linings”! I didn’t realize it had a removable lining, let alone two linings that are interchangeable. As we’ve gone from hot to warm to cool, I’ve loved that I can switch between the liners for the best temp. It fits great, if maybe a bit too tight, but that may be me. Pockets? There are a ton and I honestly only use the four on the outer jacket. The description does so much hype on the pockets that I almost didn’t buy it, but I’m glad I did as the overall usability is off the charts for me. Four jackets in one! Perfect for a jacket junkie like me. Read more

What a fantastic jacket! I included pictures, since the ones on the Amazon ad didn't serve it any justice. At 200 lbs, 5'8. I ordered an Xl which fit fine[ size]. It will take wearing it abit, to get it broke in. Its heavy, but a very very good quality jacket. And the price is fantastic compared to other ones like it. Milwaukee makes a great product. This one has abit of a dirty look, which i don't mind. And wind resistant is very good. I expect this to be the last jacket I ever need. Read more

I bought this jacket to have something more breathable for warm weather summer riding. I have several solid leather jackets, but I bake in them when riding around town. I commute to work some days and it's nice to arrive to work and not be soaking wet with sweat. The mesh allows air to flow directly through and is much cooler, but offers less protection than leather. It's a trade off, but it's better than riding around wearing only a T shirt. The jacket is made of some sort of Nylon, but I doubt it's Cordura 500D Nylon. The stitching seems sturdy enough for a mesh jacket. The padding is your basic CE type soft armor. (UPDATED) I did recently remove the padding to wash may jacket and have verified that the shoulder and elbow pads are are CE certified. However, the back protector didn't have any markings on it. This jacket would offer decent protection if you go down at your normal street speeds. If you are doing any extreme speeds you probably want to step up to something leather. There are several pockets throughout the jacket, including a super scary "Concealed Weapon & Ammo Pocket" pocket that will have freedom haters fearing for public safety. I assume that the weapon pocket is the one that buttons up. I don't imagine you would want to try to unzip a pocket in the event you needed your protection. I'm still not sure that I'll ever use the weapon pocket because the jacket would have to be unzipped to access it, and I tend to CC using other methods. Originally I ordered this jacket in 2XL and ended up immediately sending it back for an XL. I had been weighing around 280 lbs and then lost about 25+ lbs over the last 2 months. I've still been wearing 2XL shirts, but the 2XL jacket was insanely loose on me. I'm now in the 250 lb range and the XL fits snug. I'm planning on loosing at least another 25 lbs and I think the XL will still have enough adjustment to fit me. Overall the jacket feels like it's a sturdy high quality piece, especially for the sub $70 price tag. Read more

I take XL in most situations. Sometimes a Large. This xl jacket was small. It was short in the torso and in the length of the sleeves. But it was wide enough in the chest. It wasn't like a really good quality fit it was cheap Chinese fit. I think I'm just going to go to the Harley-Davidson dealership and find something there cuz that's always quality and that always fits it's made for a human body. Also heavier than expected. Removed the liner and it was still heavier than my other jacket. The seems and build quality looked fine. Inner liner zipper was cheapo and skipped teeth. RETURNED Read more

This is a good jacket with a removable liner. This was the only company I could find that had matching men's and women's jackets, so got one for me and the ladies version for my wife. I would give 5 stars if it had more open mesh. Not a lot of air flow even without the liner. Otherwise, it's a good looking, well made jacket. Works great with the liner on a cold day. Definitely warm, just too warm for warm days. Read more

This came to me with zippers that don't match up and you can't even put it on. No directions and web site shows nothing. How is this jacket supposed to go together. It's 3 pieces don't make sense. I gave up as it would take forever to make changes to this on the side of the road. Maybe instructions or a video is needed as this dingbat can't get it Read more
